Cold-rolled carbon steel sheet is a low-carbon steel sheet with a thickness typically ≤4 mm, produced by cold rolling at room temperature (below the recrystallization temperature) from hot-rolled carbon steel coils. Hot-rolled carbon steel sheet is made from carbon steel (C ≤ 0.60%) with a predominantly carbon content, produced through heating, rough/finish rolling, and cooling at 1100–1250℃. It has an oxide scale on the surface and lower dimensional accuracy, but good plasticity, high toughness, and low cost. It is commonly used in structural components, vehicle frames, bridges, and other load-bearing applications where surface finish requirements are not high.

Weathering carbon steel plate (commonly known as weathering steel plate or atmospheric corrosion resistant steel) is a low-alloy high-strength steel made by adding small amounts of alloying elements such as copper, phosphorus, chromium, and nickel (generally less than 5%) to ordinary carbon steel. Its core characteristic is the ability to form a dense and stable rust protective layer on its surface in natural environments ("rust prevention with rust"), significantly improving its atmospheric corrosion resistance (approximately 2-8 times that of ordinary carbon steel), and allowing for long-term exposed use without painting.

Wear-resistant carbon steel plates typically refer to special steel plates made of high-carbon or medium-high-carbon steel as the base material, which are heat-treated (such as quenching and tempering) or alloy-strengthened to possess high hardness and resistance to abrasive wear.

"Printed carbon steel sheet" is not a standard industrial term. It usually refers to color-coated steel sheets with carbon steel (such as cold-rolled or hot-rolled carbon steel sheets) as the base material and the surface treated with printing (printed patterns) and coating. It is a type of printed color steel sheet.

Q235 carbon steel plate is a flat plate material rolled from carbon structural steel (GB/T 700-2006) with a yield strength of approximately 235 MPa. It is classified into four quality grades: A, B, C, and D. It features low carbon content (≤0.22%), good weldability, and cold bending properties.

Q345 carbon steel plate is actually low-alloy high-strength structural steel (not pure carbon steel).
